Did you know?
You can get paid up to £144* per year for charging your EV.
Yes, you read that right. A change to UK energy markets means we can pay EV drivers like you in cash for charging at the cheapest, greenest times of day.
Raya Rewards helps you unlock those payments.
How it works
It's simple. Raya, your smart energy assistant, recommends charging times and settings that unlock rewards. You choose whether to follow them - and the more you follow, the more you earn.
Why you'll love Raya Rewards
Real cash, paid monthly
Real cash is paid to your bank account monthly for predictable overnight charging. Subject to market conditions.
A welcome bonus lands once you’re in. Real cash, before you have even charged.
It’s easy to use
You're charging anyway so you might as well get rewarded for it. If you use Raya Intelligent Scheduling, Raya will take care of it in the background.
With simple recommendations, Raya makes earning more from every charge feel effortless.
Full control, always
Raya works for you - always prioritising your ready by times so you can trust that your EV will still be charged when you need it.
No need to buy anything new, and it works with all non-smart tariffs. You’re free to leave whenever you like, and anything you’ve earned is yours to keep.
How to start, in three steps
Activate Raya Rewards in the Powerverse app
Once activated, a few checks will run quietly in the background to make sure your smart meter is ready. This can take a few days, and Raya keeps you posted.
Raya gets to work.
Once you are in you’ll get £5 as a welcome and Raya will get to work recommending the best times to charge.
Watch it add up.
The more recommendations you follow, the more your earnings grow day by day. Once your earnings are above £10, transfer the cash to your bank.

Meet Raya
Raya is your smart energy assistant. She lives in the Powerverse app and is on a mission to make charging more rewarding than ever.
She’s smart enough to understand your charging routine, spot opportunities, and help you earn cash from charging. Think of her as your EV charging sidekick, always working quietly in the background to make things simpler, smarter, and more rewarding.
It’s a win-win. The more of Raya’s recommendations you follow, the more you help the energy grid, and the more cash you can earn.
Raya’s Recommendations
Raya rewards consistent charging overnight so following these key steps will enable you to unlock the most rewards, (subject to market conditions).
Use either Raya Intelligent Scheduling or Manual Scheduling charging modes on the Powerverse app.
Using boost or instant charge means a session won't qualify for that day, so avoid it where you can.
Charging between 11pm - 6am earns the most rewards.
The bigger picture
Raya Rewards brings together two things: a change to UK energy markets that enables EV drivers to earn payments for charging at the right times, and Raya’s technology, which makes it easy to take part.
Helping renewables work better.
EVs use a lot of electricity, which can put extra pressure on the energy grid. The availability of energy from renewable sources like wind and solar can also change throughout the day. Charging when demand is lower, or when more renewable energy is available, helps the energy system work more efficiently.
That’s why EV drivers can be rewarded for shifting their charging to times when it helps the grid most.
Everyone should have access.
At Powerverse, we believe energy should be fairer, easier, and work better for everyone.
Raya was created to help make that possible. Her technology makes it easier for EV drivers to take part in Raya Rewards and access the payments available to them.

The small print
* Earn up to £144 per year
The figure assumes all qualifying charging has been met. It is based on an average weekly charge of around 100 kWh into the EV (roughly two full charges), and a reasonable estimate of flexibility value drawn from 6 months of historical wholesale (EPEX) market pricing.
Qualifying charging
Qualifying charging includes: using a schedule, either Manual Scheduling mode or Raya Intelligent Scheduling mode; no instant charging sessions; charging between 11pm and 6am; and plugging in regularly. A charging session must deliver at least 5 kWh (roughly half an hour or more of charging) before its hours count towards the reward. Short top-ups do not qualify. Powerverse reserves the right to update, amend and change behavioural policy. Updated Aug 2026.
Earnings, eligibility and terms
Rewards are not guaranteed. The £5 welcome, up to £12 a month and up to £144 a year are subject to market conditions and may change over time. To take part you'll need an eligible smart meter and a half-hourly settled tariff, and we'll then run a final check with your meter's data network, which usually takes a few days. See Flexibility Services and Smart Meter Consent terms. To see how we handle your data, you can read our privacy policy.
